Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and assist with hotel transfer. After check-in, relax and recover from your journey.
Overnight: 3–4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2
Enjoy a spiritual tour of Kathmandu, visiting:
Ø Pashupatinath Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Ø Jal Narayan (Sleeping Vishnu) – a sacred reclining deity.
Ø Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) – with panoramic valley views.

Day 3
Kathmandu – Syabrubesi/Timure (1,900m | 139 km | 6 hrs)
Begin your scenic drive via the Pasang Lhamu Highway toward Syabrubesi/Timure. Enjoy the changing landscapes en route.
Overnight: Hotel with twin-sharing rooms.
Day 4
Timure – Kyirong (2,900m | 36 km total)
After breakfast, drive 12 km to Timure and cross the Nepal–China border. Complete immigration formalities, then drive 24 km to Kyirong (Jilong City).
Overnight: Hotel with twin-sharing rooms.
Day 5
Acclimatization Day in Kyirong
Spend the day acclimatizing. Light activities include visiting the Pakchholing Monastery, exploring the local market, or participating in devotional chants.

Day 6
Kyirong – Saga (4,500m | 270 km | 5 hrs)
Drive through stunning landscapes, cross Guntala Pass (5,226m), and enjoy views of the Himalayas. Visit a waterfall before reaching Saga, on the banks of the Brahmaputra River.
Overnight: 3 star hotel in Saga or similar.
Day 7

A spiritually significant day as you reach the sacred Lake Mansarovar. En route, pass through Dongba town.
Overnight: Guesthouse with dormitory accommodation.
Day 8
Mansarovar – Darchen (4,650m | 40 km | 30 min drive)
Perform a holy bath and ritual offerings at Lake Mansarovar. Then, enjoy a 3½-hour Parikrama (circumambulation) around the lake by vehicle. Drive to Darchen, base camp of Mount Kailash.
Overnight: 3 star hotel in Darchen (twin-sharing rooms) or similar.
Day 9
Darchen – Yama Dwar – Dirapuk (4,950m | 8 km drive + 12 km trek)
Drive to Yama Dwar, the gateway to Kailash. Begin the first leg of your Mount Kailash Parikrama, trekking to Dirapuk. Witness the awe-inspiring north face of Kailash.
Overnight: Guesthouse with dormitory accommodation.
Day 10
Dirapuk – Dolma La Pass – Zuthulphuk (4,850m | 22 km | 9 hrs trek)
Start early to trek up to Dolma La Pass (5,630m), the highest point of the yatra. Visit Gauri Kund, then descend toward Zuthulphuk, experiencing breathtaking natural beauty.
Overnight: Guesthouse with dormitory accommodation.
Day 11
Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Saga (4,500m | 450 km)
After a short 2-hour trek, reunite with your group in Darchen. Begin the return journey to Saga following the same route.
Overnight: 3 star hotel in Saga or similar.
Day 12
Drive back to Kyirong, enjoying the scenic beauty and peaceful terrain along the way.
Overnight: Best available hotel in Kyirong (twin-sharing).
Day 13
After clearing immigration, drive 151 km back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the lush landscape on your return journey.
Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14
Departure from Kathmandu
You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home. Our team will assist with all departure formalities.
Sacred Mountain: Mount Kailash (6,638 meters / 21,778 feet) is considered the abode of Lord Shiva in Hinduism. It is believed to be the center of the universe, embodying spiritual significance. Many pilgrims undertake the challenging pilgrimage of circumambulating the mountain, known as "Kora."
Holy Lake: Lake Mansarovar is situated near Mount Kailash. It is revered by Hindus as the place where Lord Brahma meditated before creating the world. It is believed that a dip in the holy waters of the lake can cleanse one's sins and lead to liberation (moksha).
High Altitude: The lake is located at an elevation of around 4,590 meters (15,060 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world.
Hinduism: Mount Kailash is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who resides at the summit. It is believed that performing the Kora and taking a bath in Mansarovar purifies the soul and helps attain liberation.
Buddhism: Buddhists believe that the mountain is the home of Demchok (Chakrasamvara), a deity representing supreme bliss. Tibetan Buddhists also perform the Kora for spiritual advancement.
Jainism: Jain pilgrims also visit Kailash, where it is believed that Lord Rishabhdev, the first Tirthankara, attained nirvana.
